I have a slightly clunky (pre-Intel) iMac on which I still run 10.3.9 (so-called 'Panther'). I have been flailing around at CNET and some other download sites for several hours, but cannot seem to find a version of VLC Media Player that will definitely work with OSX 10.3.9. Can anyone tell me which version, if any, works with Panther, and where I might download it please? Sorry if this is a duplicate thread. I went back in the forum quite a long way. Well, I suppose I am still monstrously lost. I got the 'vlc-plugin-0.8.6i-powerpc.dmg' on the desktop, I then got it open and, I thought, doing what it is supposed to do by clicking on it (which got me to the point of having a folder called 'vlc-plugin-0.8.6i' on the desktop, as well as the aforementioned 'vlc-plugin-0.8.6i-powerpc.dmg' there. However, it has gotten me nowhoere. I am trying to get back into the Mac world again by going after it on this oler iMac.

But it is rather tough slogging. Not sure what to do with this 'plug in' now. I thought I was going to have the Ap instead. Blood On The Tracks New York Sessions Rarest.
